Welcome to the Embry-Riddle DigPink website, we are very excited for our Volleyball team to take on long time rivals Flagler College in a game that will raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Research. The game will be played on October 21, 2009 at 7 p.m. in the ICI Center on the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
To promote our Dig For A Cure volleyball match we are hosting the World’s Longest Game of Wiffleball on October 16-18, 2009 to raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. The current world record is 30 hours, and we plan to demolish that time with a 43 hour game. Our application to the Guinness Book of World Records has been approved, and we have been working with the local chapter of Susan G. Komen for a month now planning the event.
Please help us in reaching our goal of raising at least $1000 and please stop by ERAU during the weekend of October 16 to help us rewrite history in our quest for the record.
